The engine is easily started thanks to the CDI ignition system and the drive to the large rear wheels is controlled from the rear mounted handle control.

The fully enclosed drive belt can be easily accessed through the new removable maintenance cover. After use, the deck can be cleaned underneath by running the machine with the garden hose connected to the deck cleaning connection. The P5100SPBS includes OPC (Operator Presence Control) technology that ensures the engine will not run if you let go of the handle.
