Brott 20 Flail Lawnmower

This is a Brott 20 flail mower from circa 1960. This has had a complete overhaul at some point in its recent life, with new tyres, bearing blocks and belts etc including a engine upgrade with a honda G400 10hp electric start model.

I have shown pics with the cover off to see the inner workings. It starts on the button, and is a beast!

It has 3 forward gears and reverse. My son was lawnmower mad and i had never seen one before, so bought it! It just puts a smile on your face, no one really knows what it is, once the revs are up and the flail automatic clutch engages, it make a rare noise like no other mower you have ever seen or heard! It spits the grass out of the back from a top chute, so a bag can be attached for collecting. Its been admired more than used! You could say putting a different engine on has ruined it, but someone has made such a great job it just looks like it was alway there. I just want it to go to a good home, it is ideal for taking to shows really, it would certanly draw a crowd and be appreciated by other like minded nutters!
