Hayter Harrier 41. Driven Petrol Lawn Mower. Electric start. Fully serviced. VGC

This is a Hayter Harrier 41 petrol lawnmower with grass box. It has been carefully refurbished throughout with several brand new parts besides oil/filter etc and is clean inside and out. These machines are renowned for their reliability and quality build. It has KEY OPERATED ELECTRIC START (as well as the normalpull start mechanism) so no arm breaking pulling to get it started! It has a VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL This varies the speed oftravel of the mower from a slow crawl to a quick trot without reducing thecutting speed. Excellent for slow cutting of extra long grass, quickly givingthe lawn a trim, or for manouvering slowly round small difficult spaces. The CUTTING HEIGHT is very easy to adjust. The lever adjusts all wheels together with almost no effort at all due to the spring-loaded system. You are welcome to come and collect the mower. I'm afraid I CANNOT PACK AND SEND THIS ITEM TO YOU. I may however be able to deliver it to you myself within approx. If you are further away and cannot come to collect it why not organise your own courier to come and collect it for you. Fuel tank drained and dirt flushed out. Carburettor dismantled, fully cleaned inside and out andfully adjusted. New Variable Speed pulley variator fitted. Cutter bar sharpened and balanced. New 12 volt battery fitted. New rear side panel fitted. Fully cleaned throughout and moving parts lubricated where necessary. Rear wheel drive chain and two internal belts checked.

All plastic cutter surrounds and panels are inexcellent condition. The sealed bearings in the front wheels mean they runsmoothly with no wobble. There is some paint missing from the aluminium chassis around theextreme lower edges. Some cables have been slightly kinked when folding up thetwo part handles but they still operate smoothly. The lead acid battery will last for a good while but is notrecharged by the engine.

It is easily removed with no tools needed. If you donot already have a suitable 12 volt charger, I bought one to go with thisbattery. You can try the mower out in my garden if you wish to.
