Excellent Honda GXV160 OHV four stroke engine. Direct drive gearbox - no belts. Large capacity grass collection bag. The Honda is in exceptional condition - a better example would be very difficult to find. Mechanically the Honda is excellent. One owner from new - light domestic use only. Self propelled system is working correctly - the gearbox engages smoothly and precisely - the drive is strong. RotoStop blade clutch allows the user to safely empty the grass collection bag whilst the engine is still running - during this process the blade remains static. Also useful to traversing paths and uneven ground. Electric start functions correctly - the original Honda battery charger is included in the sale for use after long periods of inactivity.

The lawnmower will charge the battery itself during normal use. Honda has just undergone a service including the following. New SAE 30 engine oil.

New 12 volt battery fitted for electric start. Fuel system has been totally cleaned through. Blade has been sharpened and balanced. Cables have been checked, adjusted and lubricated where necessary. Honda starts with ease either by key or pull cord, the engine is smooth from idle through to full power.

The cut and finish are excellent, enhanced by the steel roller creating those highly desired stripes. Overall, an exemplary example of a Honda HR 216 powered by an excellent pedigree Honda GXV160 engine. The Honda HR 216 is widely considered to be one of the best lawnmowers Honda have ever produced, manufactured in Japan to a specification, not to a price.
