MOUNTFIELD SP185 HAND PUSHED PETROL LAWNMOWER. The Mountfield SP185 self-propelled lawn mower is powered by the 139cc Stiga ST140 Autochoke OHV engine. The large 60-litre grass collector comes with a bag full warning indicator so you can see when it needs emptying. The Autochoke system on the engine automatically sets the choke to give optimum starting and running in all cutting conditions. Rugged powder coated and hard wearing steel chassis with 46cm cutting width.
Self-propelled, ideal for maintaining your lawn with minimum effort, particularly if your lawn has slopes. Steel chassis with skid plate which reduces scalping of the lawn.
NOT SUPPLIED WITH ENGINE OIL. These lawnmowers are designed to cut grass no longer than 12cm at the time. Please use a strimmer before using the lawnmower if the grass is longer than 12cm.
Should the grass be longer than the specified length, the blade mounting boss will shear off, preventing further substantial damage to the engine/crank. Also, if the blade hits a hard surface, ie a stone, concrete edge, tree stump, the blade mounting will come off, this is as well a safety feature to prevent further serious damage to the engine.We can supply the necessary spare parts to repair the damage, at cost price. Will have signs of use, these are not affecting the functionality of the mower, are just cosmetic imperfections. Complete with fittings and grass box. Will come in the original box but tatty or repacked in plain cardboard box. All orders sent with DHL Fully Tracked Service.
Please refer to pictures for example of product's condition. They are not new or nearly new. ONLY USE E5 FUEL or E10 UNLEADED WITH STABILISER or ASPEN 4. DO NOT USE WITH STRAIGHT E10 UNLEADED FUEL.
The E10 fuel has 10% more ethanol. This attracts moisture and creates oxidation and gum in the fuelling system, damaging internal parts and preventing the engines to start/run. We recommend purchasing only the amount of fuel that will be used within 30 days maximum, as all petrol steadily deteriorates over time. Do not use previously stored petrol as it will be stale and the machine will fail to start and/or run. All our machines have been tested with Aspen 4 Fuel.
