It cannot and you'll have to come to Yorkshire to fetch it. Starts, pulls and runs but the blade is not engaging.
It also takes takes quite a few pulls to start and would generally benefit from a service. Awesome bit of kit with scag's Vbar steering system rather than the older single handles. Incredibly easy to manouevre with effortless zero turn. Located between Otley and Harrogate. I had presumed that it might be that the rubber drives need renewing.But more likely, it is either the switch or something electrical that powers the blade engagement switch. The'switch' is a knob that you pull upwards and this seems to operate as it always has, except that now nothing happens. Meanwhile, I've noticed that the little display next to it and to where you put the key in (its a pull start but the small key has to be in and switched to on before you start it up) does not have a display. I'm sure it used to - indicating number of hours worked presumably.
So my pet theory is that there must be a battery that powers the small display that might also feed the blade engagement switch. I should also say that someone else who was interested said that he thought it might be the clutch.
