Cyclinder style with very heavy rear roller. Serviced last week and had blades backlapped (sharpened) new fuel filter and oil change. The previous owner was 96yrs old and had it from new in the 1960's. He was a mechanic so had kept it running and updated through the years. He replaced the engine and made other quirky alterations. We bought it from his family and have been using it ever since. Starts pretty much first time and cuts lovely.
